Report a missing person

Give as much detail as you can. Only the name, location and description are required — send what you have now and contact us later with more.

Before you start: this listing will be public

  • Published for anyone to see: the missing person's name, age, country, last known location, your description of them, and any photos you upload.
  • Kept private: your name, phone number, email and social links. Only the volunteers running this register see those, and they will contact you if there is news.
  • Public means permanent: search engines and other sites can copy a listing. We can take it down here, but we cannot recall copies other people have already made.

Full detail in our privacy notice and terms.

Who is missing?

If they were visiting Nepal from abroad, put their home country here.

Where were they last seen?

Type it in your own words — landmarks, trails, lodges, bus routes. Anything you know.

Start typing, or write anything that fits.

What did they look like?

Clothing is often what people remember. Be as specific as you can.

Photos

Up to 5 photos, JPG or PNG only, 8 MB each. A clear photo of the face helps most. Photos are checked by a volunteer before they appear on the site; the rest of your report is published straight away.

    How can we reach you?

These details stay private — they are shown only to the volunteers running this register, never on the public listing. Give at least one.

Leave this unticked and only the volunteers running this register will see your details; they will pass on anything they receive.

Think carefully. After a disaster, fraudsters contact families who have published a phone number and demand payment for news. You can ask us to hide your details again at any time, but anything already copied cannot be recalled.
